Ola Rafało: “Ola Rafało proved to be a mezzo to watch, with a strong Stride la Vampa” said Anne Midgette, for the Washington Post, when Ola was featured as Azucena and Amneris, in scenes at Kennedy Center. per Ola has laid the foundation of her career as a dramatic mezzo, performing most of Verdi's roles in her repertoire. She started with Fenena in Nabucco (Baltimore Lyric Opera, Opera Carolina), “Rafało produced the best singing of the evening, in spite of her role being smaller. "– L. Gazzola of Opera Lively. Ola continued that trajectory as Azucena in Il Trovatore with Opera Forza, and Maddalena in Rigoletto with Gulfshore Opera. She was featured in various Verdi galas including: Gulfshore Opera, Opera Tampa, Springfield Symphony, and Teatro Curci. She continues to establish her unique artistry on the world's stages.
Irina Feoktistova : Irina Feoktistova graduated from St. Petersburg Conservatoire, Russia. A classically trained pianist, she has performed in the major halls of St. Petersburg, Russia, and toured Europe and the United States as a soloist, duo pianist, and accompanist. A classically trained pianist, she has performed in the major halls of St. Petersburg, Russia, and toured Europe and the United States as a soloist, duo pianist, and accompanist.Ms. Feoktistova relocated to the United States in 1998, and since then she has performed extensively in Chicagoland area and worked as a free-lance musician at the Roosevelt, Loyola, Northwestern, and DePaul universities. She has been involved in numerous musical theatre productions as an accompanist and music director. She is also active in various projects performing Russian and American contemporary music.
Eugene Kaler: Born in the former Soviet Union into a family of musicians, Eugene immigrated to the United States just in the nick of time, and by the age of 7 had convinced his parents to allow him to take up the violin. Eugene graduated from the prestigious Baltimore School for the Arts and moved to Chicago where he studied at DePaul University, earning his BM and MM in violin performance. Along with an Artist Diploma from Long Island Conservatory, Eugene set out to travel the world, performing with both national and international tours of award-winning musicals such as West Side Story, Annie, Bridges of Madison County, and Kinky Boots. Eugene acquired Kelvin Scott’s Viola just before departing with Lincoln Center Stage to perform on Holland America Line’s Westerdam in the mediterranean. He has toured Europe performing a symphonic celebration of the music of Prince, and spent 10 weeks performing in the People’s Republic of China. Prior to the advent of the international pandemic, Eugene was the concertmaster of the National Tour of Dear Evan Hansen. An avid improviser, painter, and actor, Eugene has collaborated with artists such as Yo-Yo Ma, Ilya Kaler, David Barenboim, Chick Corea, Alexander Markov, Yana Reznik, and Christopher Meloni. Eugene currently resides in Chicago and spends his time performing on and composing for the Viola and Violin.
